Cryolipolysis is a painless and safe method of reducing local fat without surgery or anesthetic. Special electrodes apply very low temperatures to areas of local fat that we select for treatment. Fat cells are particularly sensitive to cold, unlike other types of cells. Controlled cooling results in the destruction of fat cells, which the body then gradually removes naturally. The session per area lasts about one hour. Immediately afterwards, one can return to daily activities.
How long does the session last and how many should be done?
The session on the targeted area lasts about an hour, depending on the area, and then you can return to your daily activities. After the first session per area, the doctor will recommend waiting about 6 weeks to assess the result. If necessary, up to 3 sessions per area can be performed.
Usually with one application we achieve satisfactory results, while in more severe problems a second application is recommended for further improvement. With each cryolipolysis session we achieve approximately 25% reduction of local fat.
Results
The first results are visible in 4-6 weeks but the final results appear after a few months, as the injured fat cells are gradually eliminated from the body over a period of 4 to 6 months after the treatment. The lost centimeters create a slimmer silhouette.
4 main advantages of the method
It is painless and non-invasive, so it can be applied to almost all healthy people.
It ensures permanent results – as long as you maintain your weight.
The result is natural and does not cause sagging of the skin.
In addition to fat reduction, you will notice a visible reduction in cellulite.
In which areas does it apply?
Cryolipolysis can be applied virtually anywhere there are fat deposits in the body, i.e. local fat: arms, abdomen, back, buttocks, thighs, knees. Depending on the area, the doctor will use different heads on the machine.
Contraindications
The treatment is contraindicated in people with sensitivity to cold (cryoglobulinemia, cold urticaria, paroxysmal cold hemoglobinemia).
Recovery
Bruising (bruising) rarely occurs in the treatment areas, which lasts a few days.
