

Dermatologist – Venereologist
Originally from Lagadia, Gortynia (far from the city) and Ano Melpia, Messinia, Yiannis D. Dimitriadis completed his high school studies in Diavolitsi, Messinia and was admitted through the Panhellenic Examinations to the Medical School of the University of Athens (2005). He graduated as excellent (2011), when he moved to France for his specialization in Dermatology - Venereology (2012-2017), in a series of Hospitals in the Paris Region (such as "Saint Louis"), at the Catholic University of Lille and in Lorraine (Metz, Thionville, Nancy). From 2018 to the present, and after serving as Curator Venereology at the historic University Nursing Institution « House of God » (Hohtel–Dieu) of the Parisians and Supervisor of the Inflammatory Dermatology Clinic at the Regional Hospital of 91th department of France, practices clinical Dermatology in Field of Mars, at 7the Paris apartment, as the main collaborator of Dr. Gaucher Catherine in the model unit she has founded (29-31, avenue de Suffren, Paris VII). From autumn 2022, after a 10-year stay in France, he ventures into his gradual transition to Greece, collaborating with the Athens Dermatology in a well-equipped space, while at the same time maintaining his clinic in Paris, continuing to actively volunteer through teledermatology and telegeriatrics in villages in the French countryside deserted by dermatologists.
As part of his medical education, having completed a specialization in Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine and Geriatrics, he further specialized in his field, receiving, for example, the corresponding university degrees in:
- Pediatric Dermatology (2017) at the University of Nice, France
- Dermatological Infectious Diseases and Treatment of tropical skin diseases (2015)
- Dermatological Semiology of Autoimmune Diseases (2016) at the University of Paris "Peter and Marie Curie",
- Aesthetic Interventional Dermatology (2017, 2019) at the Universities of Versailles (lasers, peelings) and Eastern Paris (injectable treatments with botulinum toxin and hyaluronic acid), respectively.
Finally, he is one of the first French-speaking dermatologists to receive a specialization diploma from the University of Strasbourg in:
- Dermatological Nosology of the Black Skin Spectrum – «Dermatology of diversity » (2021), aiming to provide excellent medical services to patients who do not belong to the white phototypes – to whose study conventional dermatological training is usually limited.
After pan-European exams (2019), he achieved the title of Fellow of the European Board of Dermato–Venereology (FEBDV). He has edited speeches at numerous French Dermatology Conferences, as well as written publications on his subject in international scientific journals, while he is a regular editor of dermatological articles in the French periodical press (namely, in "Modern Woman" and in "Women's Journal" - "Femme Actuelle" and "Le Journal des Femmes", respectively.). His academic activities include teaching students of the Athens Medical School in the course of History of Medicine, in whose Laboratory he is working on his doctoral thesis, under the supervision of Prof. Ms. Karamanou M. His work was presented as a paper at a Plenary Session of the French Academy of Medicine (2021).
